On My Way . . . Almost

Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday.
I will arrive at the airport around one thirty pm, even though our flight doesn't leave until four.

International dateline.

About 95% of me is absolutely dying to go and help.
The other 5%?
Well... I'm scared out of my wits.
Am I qualified for this?

What are "wits" anyway?

Oh, and if I don't return, don't worry, it'll only be because I never want to return. Ever.
See you in two weeks.

Beautiful Disaster

The rush of the wind.
Pushing everything in it's path in the direction it chooses to go.
Clearly making itself known.

The rain beats hard against my windows and upon the roof.
The way it patters is comforting.
Even with the harsh wind that accompanies it.

Rhythmically falling and hitting whatever gets in its way.

Violent winds return. Forcing almost everything out of its way.
Wrapping up it all and throwing it aside.
Leaving it damaged and torn.

Walking outside. Being forced to fight with nature.
The wind toss aside your hair, and makes you only hold your jacket closer.

The rain sinks into your skin and hair.
Changing your appearance.

Inside and out.

Realizations take place.

But how can you love something so harsh and violent so much?

"The beauty of the rain is how it falls." -- Shawnee Kennington
I agree.

Even if the meaning is different.

Beautiful Disaster

.nine.

And because they're being born on the fourth of July, they will all have patriotic names.
Go Ronaldina.

Be jealous.

I Love...

I love taking pictures. ♥

"Pass Me the Screwdriver."

"Pass me the screwdriver. Now the wrench."

Not something you normally here when you go to get your teeth looked at.
Sadly, I'm used to it.
Sadly, I'm getting used to the very minor, but still unexpected surgeries. (Like today.)
Sadly, I might have to have another surgery. . . Expected this time.

I'm not used to these. I hate them.
You'd think after having as many oral surgeries as I have, I'd be used to it.

I stopped counting after five.

However, no matter what, I will be done before the end of May.
It better be worth it. . . Even if May ends up being bad.

To be continued. . .

History For Sale

"There ain't no reason things are this way,
It's how they' always been and they intend to stay,
I can't explain why we live this way,
We do it everyday."
--Brett Dennen Ain't No Reason

Every second of every day goes by.
Faster and faster.
History for sale.
What makes the difference to one person could be you.
Why stay inside? Why go out? Who are you thinking about?
Say hello.
History for sale.

Each person comes in our lives for a reason.
Take chances.
Don't listen to what anyone says about others. -- Especially the bad.
Get to know them first.
History for sale.

Too often we reject others without a definite reason.
History for sale.
Over and over again, only to regret it later.
Or to find out we were the one to hurt them.
History for sale.

Every second of every day goes by.
Faster and faster.
History for sale.
Define each second.
Not easy.
Ever.

Take time to look at the big picture.
History for sale.
Acknowledge those around you.
Treasure their presence.
Make the most of the time you have with them.
They might not be around for long.
History for sale.

They might be going through something you never would have imagined.
History for sale.
Happens all to often.
Me included.
History for sale.

Take a deep breath.
Go outside.
Breath easily.
Take a closer look.
History for sale.
Love more freely, and deeply.
Appreciate.

History for sale.

Be accepting.
Remember your dreams.
History for sale.
Think of the other's point of view.
History for sale.

Enjoy your life.
History for sale.

Minus history repeated.
History for sale.
